Our sleep expert shares her list of must haves for helping bubs get a restful sleep (and parents too!)
1. Somewhere safe for your baby to sleep
This could be a bassinet for those early weeks or a cot. Either way make sure it means the Australian Safety Standards and has a firm, clean and well fitted mattress.
My favourites are the Aden and Anais 100% cotton muslin swaddles. These are amazing for not only swaddling your baby to help soothe them but also for a stroller cover, burp cloth or nursing cover to name a few.
3. A Comforter
My favourite is the Flat Out Bear
4. A comfortable chair
5. A Dark Room
A dark room. Ensure you have some heavy curtains, blockout blinds, plantation shutters or darkened blinds.
