TiniTrader.com.au had a brilliant weekend at the recent Baby and Toddler Show in Darlinghurst Sydney. A real stand-out for us was the chance to ooh and ah over so many incredible baby prams on the market. Looking back on it now, we were pretty much like kids in a lolly shop!
Having so many different baby prams in the one spot at the one time is a great chance to really get your head around what’s on offer. So if you’re in the market for a new baby pram, we’ve done some of the initial ground work for you below.
But before we share the details… drumroll… the product voted coolest at the show was in fact a pram! The Babyzen Yoyo, a lightweight stroller, is proving that even the sky is not the limit when it comes to contemporary pram design. Packed with innovation, the Babyzen Yoyo features incredible folding (carry-on luggage, here you come!), best-in-class comfort, an amazingly smooth ride and a sleek design. This is the pram made for parents on the go. As they said at the show, the Babyzen Yoyo is the new name for mobility.
But coolest product in show aside, there were certainly plenty of baby prams that we felt were equally impressive. To name a few:
4Moms Origami Baby Stroller
A two-step folding process and safety sensors means that this pram will only fold when you actually want it to. Daytime running lights and reflective piping, not to mention a phone charging option make this a great stroller for parents literally on the go. You can add a carseat adapter to clip your car capsule straight to the pram.
Bugaboo Buffalo Baby Pram
An all-terrain stroller, this baby pram is made for parents who prefer off-road! Spacious, strong and with a great sun canopy, the Bugaboo Buffalo is a baby pram that is ready for the most active of lifestyles.
Icandy Peach Pushchair
A three-position forward and rearward facing seat, a one-hand fold chassis and divine soft-touch fabric make this pushchair as functional as it is stylish.
Jane Rider Baby Stroller
This is a baby pram for those who like to be fashion focused. Stylish colours and quality fabrics combine with easy folding down, a shopping basket with capacity up to 3kg and other great features mean the Jane Rider stylish and functional.
Joolz Day Stroller
The great feature to Joolz Day Stroller is it is designed around you, than expecting you to mould around it. This is a pram that can configure to tall parents as easily as it can to small. With a choice of six beautiful colours, the Joolz Day Stroller clearly is all about tailoring to you and your child.
MacLaren Quest Elite
Lightweight but with a shopping basket that can carry up to 3kg, this is a baby pram that can really get about easily and pretty much effortlessly. An automatic folding lock, a raincover and a removable washable seat make the MacLaren Quest Elite versatile and adaptable.
Mama and Pappas Urbo 2
Car seat compatible, a nifty built-in insect net to protect against the biting mozzies and annoying flies as well as to provide shade cover and a peak-a-boo window are just some of the stand-out features of this terrific baby pram.
Stokke Xplory Baby Pram
A raised seat that enables your little one to sit higher and closer, five different seating positions, and a terrific range of colours mean this baby pram is hard to pass! Even Natalie Bassingthwaighte has been seen out and about with her Stokke!
Silver Cross Wayfarer Pram
A contemporary and lightweight baby pram. Use the carrycot and it’s a lie flat pram for your newborn. Switch to the seat unit and it’s a forward or rear facing multi position pushchair for use until your baby is walking independently, with a brilliant one-piece fold. Add the maxi-cosi car seat and it’s a complete travel system.
And that's a wrap. As mentioned, this is just scraping the surface of all the fantastic baby prams and strollers out there. Make sure you browse the large and extensive baby pram range on Tinitrader to make sure you purchase the pram most suited to your family!
